discrimination. started when officials refused to let the little girl enter a wrestling tournament. ebony monet reports from suburban indianapolis. >> reporter: at this wrestling tournament in westfield, kids get a chance to show off their moves. 4-year-old adrian's parents say she was left out. >> i was extremely angry. i don't think it should be an issue especially at this age. >> reporter: her dazed also her coach. three or four of their kids wrestle. the family shares pictures of adrian wrestling and beating a boy. adrian's parents say westfield sports incore rated wouldn't give adrian a chance to grapple in a tournament. >> she cried for about an hour. so, as a dad it was hard. as a coach it was even worse you never want to tell your guys they can't go and wrestle, especially for, something as idiotic as you are a girl you can't wrestle boys. >> reporter: we spoke to an organizer who says they kept girls from competing sunday afternoon for reasons other than

gender. in one case a child wasn't properly registered. as for adrian, a coach says shr wasn't any one for her to wrestle. saying some parents have spoken out against letting their sons wrestle girls. >> in our club, they wrestle all boys. throughout season they're going to wrestle 95 to 99% boys. so to go to a tournament and have that be an issue is a little upsetting to me. >> the family says that indiana state wrestling association matches girls compete against other girls and boys. >> so if it is, if the state doesn't have an issue with it i don't understand why any one would really have an issue with it. >> reporter: maloney isn't buying sxt play nation. >> i think some people aren't with changing times. i think that's the issue. don't think it has anything to do with safety for anything. >> iffage in 4-year-old girl wrestling boys. there would be a safety concern. i would be concerned >> i would be. he is a wrestling coach. the girls should do anything the boys can do. >> i am all for equality. let's give her a shot.

>> reporter: working moms multitask ten hours a week more than working dads. and they like it a lot less. these findings published in the american sociological review will come as no surprise to millions of working women. researchers found they spent 48.3 hours per week, 40% of their waking time, doing at least two things at once. fathers spent 38.9 hours per week multitasking. women's multitasking often involves child care and house work. while men are more likely to be talking to several people at once and supervising kids recreation. while men generally have no problem with juggling those jobs, the authors say women feel stressed and conflicted by being exposed to scrutiny and judgment. not surprisingly, the researchers recommend that fathers lift more of the load when it comes to house keeping and child care. i'm dr. timothy johnson. >> the floor is yours.

it's creepy isn't it. we'll get to that in a second. we begin with drastic changes ahead for the postal service. thousand of employees now expected to lose their jobs. >> that's right. mail is going to take longer to arrive. abc's scott goldberg with more on the cutbacks. good morning, scott. >> reporter: rob, sunny, we don't use pens and paper like we used to that's why the postal service says it is drowning in red ink. if this is how you still pay bills and send letters you might soon be alone. >> there is really hardly any reason to come here aside from shipping a physical item. >> almost a relic. >> getting there. >> reporter: because e-mail and computers are costing the postal service truck loads it is moving forward with a plan to save $3 billion. this spring they'll shutter more than half of the country's mail processing centers. eliminating some 35,000 jobs. those consolidations will lengthen the distance mail has to travel, so instead of taking the normal one to three days, first-class mail could now take

two to three days. >> american public pays bills on line, more than 50% do today. we can't sit back and wait for another, five, six, ten years before we make these changes. >> reporter: the postal service wants to cut delivery from six days a week to five. cut pensions. and close some 3,700 post offices across the country. >> staying ahead of the cost curve means we have got to pull out significant excess capacity out of our network. >> reporter: congress has to approve the changes and there are skeptics on capitol hill who say, all of these cuts just give customers more reasons to send letters and packages through another carrier. the postal service does not get tax doll lrz to fund its operations so even though congress oversees the postal service its funding comes directly from the money we pay to mail and ship things. rob, sunny. >> well, starting january 22nd, price of a stamp will go up to 45 cents. they say if they raised the price to 63 cents a stamp it would erase the short fall.

firehouse and costing taxpayers a pretty penny to clean it up. our correspondent from wfts reports. >> reporter: the paramedics and fire fighters of tampa station 15 spend most of the morning running to fires and medical calls. which is probably fine by them. their firehouse has been invaded by bed bugs. >> this is the adult. >> reporter: this is what they look like in an enlarged photo. some time in mid september, unwanted roommates found their way into the sleeping quarters of the firehouse. now fire fighters are throwing out uniforms and bedding. a bed bug expert is spraying the crew quarters with eco-exempt oil trying to kill the critters. fire rescue department and taxpayers have spent thousand trying to get rid of the bugs. the folks at massy pest control say they have gotten rid of most but not awful them.

advanced sensors, cameras, and listening devices for spying from the air. the u.s. will say only that a drone malfunctioned over afghanistan late last week. in case of malfunction, it is designed to circle until it picks up a signal again or until it runs out of gas. which means it could have glided into iran largely intact. the drone is designed to automatically erase its sensitive data, but even if it did, the drone's skin which keeps it invisible from radar could be an intelligence bonanza. >> if they're trying to figure out how to detect american stealth e systems in the future, now they have got something that allows them to do that. >> reporter: the iranians have not shown pictures of the drone they say they have that may be because they don't want to reveal just how much or how little was left of the aircraft. martha raddatz. abc news, washington. >> it's significant. military analysts are now
